After Independence , in 1947 most of the Christian schools with hostels remained in Pakistan ( West Punjab ). The need was felt to start a new school with hostel facilities which could serve the community through giving education to the children of the rural area. Keeping in view, the foreign Missionary Miss Christians made a survey to start such school.

    Miss. G. Lilly Swords

Miss G. Lilly Swords, a missionary from USA took up this challenge and started this school up to 5thclass along with Hostel in 1958. In the beginning there were only 65 children studying in the school and residing in the hostel. Thus Miss G. Lilly Swords is pioneer to begin the Institution. She had a great vision regarding education in India specially in Punjab. Along with this institution she started four primary schools in the villages. Two of them later on put on grant-in-aid and are still serving the area. In this way this great lady with strong faith put her contribution in nation building when even Government had not enough school.

In 1964 another very dedicated and committed Missionary from Germany Miss H. Grams took over from Miss G. Lilly Swords and expanded the school upto12th class and hostel up to college. Most of the buildings with adequate facilities were built under the dynamic and constructive leadership of Miss H. Grams.

Along with these foreign missionaries the Indian missionaries also put their contribution by participating in the administration. They are also remembered for their work. Miss  J.S. Masih, Miss D. Dayal And Miss V.K. Andrews were main among them.
